Bioengineering welcomes inter-departmental transfer students

High-achieving students who have already earned credit at Illinois may qualify to finish their degree in the Department of Bioengineering.

Looking for a way to combine your interests in engineering and biological systems? If you have at least two semesters' worth of credits from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and are a high-achieving student, you may qualify to transfer and complete your degree in Bioengineering.

Students currently enrolled at Illinois in the College of Engineering, School of Chemical Sciences, or School of Molecular and Cellular Biology now have the opportunity to transfer into the Department of Bioengineering at the sophomore level.
