Dean Ilesanmi Adesida has named Prof. Michael F. Insana as Interim Head of the Department of Bioengineering replacing Prof. Bruce Wheeler who had been Interim Head since 2004.
Prof. Insana is also the Director of Graduate Studies. Currently, there is an open search for a new department head.
Prof. Wheeler has accepted a faculty position at the University of Florida in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. We thank Prof. Wheeler for his years of service to the department.
